This is a very busy season for us and we’ve been tap tap tapping away in the workshop getting all our Christmas orders ready for delivery. Our neighbours at Persistence Works in Sheffield will tell you that you know when the silversmiths are in because you can hear the ‘chorus of anvils’!

Play the video to see what we mean… (Don’t forget to switch on the sound!)

We’ve spent a lot of weekends away from the workshop over the last three months, exhibiting at shows as far north as Edinburgh and as far south as Winchester, but next weekend, Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th November, we will be in and open to visitors as part of Yorkshire Artspace Open Studios.

Persistence Works will be opening its doors to anyone who wants to visit from 11am – 4pm. We will be putting out a display of our silverware, as well as welcoming people to have a look at the tools – and anvils – we use to make so many candlesticks and so much noise!

Come along. We’d be very happy to see there!

Can’t make it? You can still catch us before Christmas at the Welbeck Winter Weekend at the Harley Gallery in Nottinghamshire from 23rd – 25th November.
